AP Inter-District Roller Skating Champ concludes in Visakhapatnam
The 31st Andhra Pradesh Inter-District Roller Skating Championship and Selection event for the 57th National Roller Skating Championship 2019 was concluded with a prize distribution programme here on Thursday.
Visakhapatnam: The 31st Andhra Pradesh Inter-District Roller Skating Championship and Selection event for the 57th National Roller Skating Championship 2019 was concluded with a prize distribution programme here on Thursday. Organised by Visakhapatnam District Roller Sports Association, the event was held at VMRDA Park.
Contestants exhibited their skills in roller derby, downhill, alpine, inline freestyle, roller freestyle and skateboarding in the five-day event held at two venues, including Indira Park, Ukkunagaram.
About 889 skaters from all over the state took part in the event and winners walked away with the medals and trophies. VMRDA Chairman Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao graced the event as chief guest and gave away the prizes. He was accompanied by officials and coaches.
