Amaravati: The TDP leaders in the Council raised the issue of TDLP deputy leader in Assembly Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, who was suffering with the wounds after he was transported from Srikakulam to Guntur after arresting him by the Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths a couple of days ago. The TDP MLC Deepak Reddy and others pointed out at the State government in this incident on Wednesday during a discussion on the Governor's Address.

The TDP MLCs criticised that the State government was trying to put the lives of their party leaders in danger by harassing them on false cases. The TDP leaders stated that the health condition of Atchannaidu was deteriorating due to continuous bleeding, who underwent a surgery before arrest. The long journey for about 20 hours was the reason for the bleeding, the TDP leaders explained. It is worth mentioning here that Atchannaidu has been undergoing treatment in the Government General Hospital in Guntur, as per the directions of the ACB Court.

Reacting on it, the YSRCP MLCs and Ministers including Anil Kumar Yadav, Kodali Nani, Botcha Satyanarayana and others condemned the TDP by saying that they should not use the Council for their political gains.

Even after adjourning the Council, the arguments were continued between Anil Kumar and Deepak Reddy.
