The administration has made elaborate arrangements for the success of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s one-day visit to Kavali town of SPSR Nellore district on Friday.
Kavali (SPSR Nellore district) : The administration has made elaborate arrangements for the success of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s one-day visit to Kavali town of SPSR Nellore district on Friday.
According to District Collector M Hari Narayanan, the Chief Minister will land at Kavali around 10.30 am and distributes Pattadar passbooks to 23,000 farmers whose 43,270 acres of lands were excluded from prohibited dotted land records. Later he will address the public gathering. The collector said 1,000 plus cops were deployed at public meeting venue to avoid untoward incidents. Minister for Agriculture Kakani Govardhan Reddy along with Kavali MLA R Prathap Kumar Reddy, MLC T Raghu Ram expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.
Speaking to media persons at Kavali on Thursday, the minister said that exclusion of farmlands from prohibited dotted land records as an historic event.
He said the farming community in the district remain grateful to the chief minister of his remarkable decision.
