Chittoor: The devotees have expressed anger on the officials and police at Kanipakam Varasidhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple on the occasion of Ganesh Chavithi.

They alleged that the temple officials have not responded and not taking any measures even though the devotees collapse due to long-standing in the crowded queue lines.

The devotees have expressed their anguish that even after standing for more than two hours, they have not got the darshan of the Lord. Moreover, the authorities are giving high priority to VIP's by stopping the common devotee's queue lines.

They also said that there is no drinking water facility, and the queue lines are not arranged properly. The queue lines of Rs 50 and Rs 100 tickets were mixed together, which resulted in the overcrowding at the temple.
