Family members attacked each other with knives over land dispute in West Godavari district

According to the sources, G Laxmana Swamy of the village has three sons Srinu, Satyanarayana, and Pallaiah, who went to Dubai ten years ago and sent money to their father.
With that amount, Swamy has bought three and a half acres of land and got registered on his name. After the sons returned from Dubai, they shared the land equally and started cultivation in it.
In this context, about one and a half years ago, Srinu took his father to bank over the loan and signed the documents and registered the whole land on his name. Over this, the remaining brothers approached the police station and filed a case in the RDO court. The court recommended the cancellation of the registration. After this, brothers continued farming in their share of the land.
On Sunday, Swamy was working in the farmland belongs to Pallaiah. With this, Srinu and his associates burned the bikes of Pallaiah by pouring petrol on them and tried to attacked Laxmana Swamy with swords.
Over knowing about the incident, Satyanarayana and the rest of the family members reached the farmland and attacked each other with the knives. In the attack, Srinu, his wife Sujatha, and Satyanarayana sustained serious injuries. The victims were rushed to Eluru government hospital for treatment.
