Ongole: Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao has enriched the life of Telugu music lovers by presenting memorable songs with his soft and vibrant voice and lead a life like a Ganarushi, said Dr. Sidda Venkateshwara Rao. He participated as a chief guest to the 'Ghantasala Balu Geethalapana' program by the National Arts Academy in the NTR Kalakshetram on Saturday night.
Sidda Venkateswara Rao and others paid rich tributes to Ghantasala by garlanding his photograph and appreciated the National Arts Academy president T Vijayakanth for his service to the music lovers in the town for almost thirty years. Later they felicitated noted pediatrician in the town Lakireddy Sunil Kumar Reddy grandly and appreciated his services to the poor parents of the suffering children.
The singers from Kakinada, Nellore, and Gudur, Pravallika, Indusekhar, Sugandhini, Achuth mesmerized the audience with their songs while Ponnuru Venkata Srinivasulu won their hearts with timely anchoring.
Former ACB officer Gottipati Venkateswara Rao, Dr. Santhaveluri Koteswara Rao, Karavadi Anjaneyulu, Macharla Subrahmanyam, Kavartapu Srinivasa Rao, Alahari Chanchalarao and others also participated in the program.
