It is known fact that the Andhra Pradesh government has initiated the reverse tendering process in major projects to minimize the burden on the government. With the success of the reverse tendering in the Polavaram Irrigation project, which saved the 880 crores. It was alleged by YSRCP that previous TDP govt has looted the money in the last five years.

In this backdrop, the government has taken another step forward in reversing tendering the Happy Nest Project in the capital city Amaravati in the state. The CRDA has recently issued a directive to issue guidelines to hold tenders. The CRDA had earlier called tenders for the construction of 1200 flats by Happy Nest at Nalapadu in Amaravati. Work has also begun to this extent.

CRDA received applications for 300 flats on 9th November. With the unexpected response in the first phase, the officials have decided to hold bookings for the remaining 900 flats in a single installments.
