Heavy rains hit Anantapur district on Monday. Heavy rains lashed out the Tadipatri and Guthi in the district. Due to rain, many low-lying areas of Tadipatri were utterly drowned.
Heavy rains hit Anantapur district on Monday. Heavy rains lashed out the Tadipatri and Guthi in the district. Due to rain, many low-lying areas of Tadipatri were utterly drowned. The same area was flooded last month. Motorists are facing severe difficulties as lanes cannot be seen in some places. Rainwater entered the households of several colonies.
This has disrupted transportation between Guthi-Adoni. Also, the bridge collapsed at Kambadaru zone at Puthiyapalli. Due to breakage in Polepalli pond at Brahmasamudrm Mandal the rainwater drowned into the crop fields. MLAs Peddara Reddy and Venkataramy Reddy visited Thadipatri and Guthi to examine the situation.
