Kadapa: A woman died after giving birth to twins and after her death, she was tested Covid-19 positive. Following the incident, Joint Collector Saikanth Varma (development) visited Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) and enquired about the health condition of the two babies, on Friday.

During his visit, the Joint Collector directed the doctors to ensure providing best available treatment to the twin babies.

Doctors explained the Joint Collector about special treatment being provided to the twin babies. Later the JC inspected other wards and YSR free meals dining hall- cum- rest house.

RIMS Superintendent Prasad Rao, RMO Kondaiah, RIMS College Principal Vijay Anand and others were present.

It may be recalled the a 32 years old woman of Khadarpalle village in Chapadu mandal reportedly died of CoVID-19 positive after giving birth to the twin babies on Thursday.
