Police have rescued a man named Simhadri who attempted suicide by jumping into the Krishna river at Prakasam Barrage. Simhadri later said that he tried to commit suicide for house owner's harassment and abuses. However, when he jumped int the river, he was sailed due to sand pillars in the water. He then raised his hands and shouted for help.
The NDRF personnel rescued the man who is flowing in the river.
