Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy takes charge at AP Secretariat
AP Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy said they will consult with the central government over the establishment of the Kadapa steel factory.

On Wednesday, Minister has taken charge at his chamber in AP Secretariat. On the occasion, Goutham Reddy has first signed on the APIIC payment clearance file.
Speaking to media, Minister Goutham Reddy said that the special status is the right of AP. He said earlier many MoU's had happened, but no industries have come to the state.
Minister also said it has come to the government's notice that there are problems in setting up 42 industries in the state. Though the land allocation has done for a few industries, so far no works have been started.
Minister Mekapati said they will have a special focus on the IT department, and the BPO services will be expanded to the village level.
