Mixed weather to continue in AP, Telangana, rains likely in parts of two states

The Meteorological Department has issued weather advisories for the Telugu states. It forecasts unusual weather conditions in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana today. Amid withdrawal of the Southwest Monsoon, temperatures ranging between 30°C and 39°C were recorded in most of the areas of both states on Wednesday, while light to moderate rainfall occurred in other locations. It is noted that the Southwest Monsoon is expected to completely withdraw from parts of Maharashtra, North Karnataka, and Telangana over the next two to three days, bringing rainfall to several areas in the process.

The Meteorological Department predicts mixed weather conditions for Hyderabad on Thursday. While the morning is expected to be pleasant with cool breezes, temperatures are likely to rise sharply by the afternoon, leading to intense heat and sultry conditions. However, the weather may turn pleasant again in the evening, with a possibility of light drizzles in some areas.

Weather in Telangana

On Wednesday, heavy rains occurred sporadically across the twin cities of Hanumakonda, Warangal, and Kazipet in Telangana. Meanwhile, high temperatures were recorded in several other cities. The Meteorological Department has stated that light to moderate rains are likely in some parts of the state on Thursday, while other areas may experience sultry and dry weather conditions.

Regarding Andhra Pradesh, the Meteorological Department has forecast high temperatures in some districts and a likelihood of light to moderate rainfall in others, influenced by the withdrawal of the Southwest Monsoon. Specifically, scattered rains are expected in several districts of the Rayalaseema region, while dry weather is anticipated in the remaining districts.
