Rajamahendravaram: V V Lakshminaryana, former Joint director of CBI has said mother plays a key role in overall development of the student.

He was the chief guest at a seminar of mothers, Aim, organized by Sri Shirdi Sai Group of Institutions at Anam Kalakendram here on Saturday.

He advised the mothers to encourage their children in the areas of their (children) interest rather than building pressure on them to fulfill their (parents) aspirations.

Psychologist Dr Vijayalakshmi, participating as another guest, said there was no need for the parents to worry when their children think independently and differ with their parents.

Dr Vishnupriya urged mothers to give patient hearing to children and clear their doubts.

Chairman of the institutions T Sridhar said that they have been organizing Aim programme in order to keep their students in higher positions.

Founder of the institutions T Paleshwara Rao, director T Srividya and others were present.
