Former minister and Telugu Desam Party secretary-general Nara Lokesh responded to the latest developments in Visakhapatnam in the backdrop of Chandrababu Naidu's tour. Lokesh fumed at YSRCP for the attacks launched on the opposition leader by pelting stones and tomatoes at Naidu's convoy.
He said that these attacks are just a trailer and suspected that the YSRCP would be resort to bomb blasts on the people in coming days.
Chandrababu was expected to take a huge rally from Visakhapatnam airport after landing at the airport. However, Visakhapatnam police refused to permission.
Earlier to Naidu's arrival at Visakhapatnam airport, a large number of YSRCP workers and activists gathered near the airport to protest against the TDP chief and pelting stones and tomatoes. They chanted slogans against Chandrababu. While TDP leaders and activists as well reached the airport to welcome their chief. MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar expressed anguish over the behaviour of the police for stopping the TDP leaders from approaching the airport.
