The busy road which witnesses vehicular traffic from both sides has been giving nightmarish experience to the commuters and for the people who visit the hospitals in the area. Now, the civic body planned to manage the traffic and also planned to arrange a paid parking on the way.
Municipal Commissioner PVVS Murthy who visited the area in the early hours on Friday observed the situation of traffic on the road along the railway track which is parallel to the main road from VRC centre to Gandhi statue.
He decided to allow vehicles towards Vijaya Mahal Gate only which would relieve stress on the road. He discussed with the town planning wing, traffic police, commuters and local traders on the move.
