Rains likely in AP, Telangana due to expected cyclonic circulation
Southwest Monsoon is retreating from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and there are increases in the temperatures each day. During the day, the heat becomes severe in most of the areas, whereas nights remain humid.
According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation over the North Andaman Sea may cause the formation of a low pressure over the southeast Bay of Bengal by Tuesday. It may become strong over the next three to four days and shift towards the coasts of north Tamil Nadu and south Andhra Pradesh in the west-northwest direction. There are possibilities for the development of a depression by Wednesday.
As per some models, the intensity may grow to that of the cyclonic storm by Wednesday, but as per other models, it is going to stay in low pressure. According to the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority, further details are required regarding the possible development of this system.
On the other hand, the department has predicted the isolated rain, thunderstorms, and lightning in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Saturday due to the cyclonic circulation and trough in the Bay of Bengal.
