Rajamahendravaram: The two-day Forest Department Sports Meet-2020 was concluded on Thursday evening and principle chief conservator for forests N Prateep Kumar presented medals and trophies to the winning teams.
A total of 400 employees of the department participated in 60 events in which 146 male employees and 54 female employees got medals. Guntur circle won overall championship, Rajamahendravaram circle stood as runner up, Coast team won tug-of-war and forest academy team stood as best march fast.
Guntur circle won as many as 60 gold medals, 32 silver medals and eight bronze medals. Rajamahendravaram circle got as many as 40 gold medals, 34 silver medals and 27 bronze medals.
