Rajamahendravaram: The Left parties' workers staged dharna at Reliance Mart here on Monday, in support of agitating farmers, who are demanding the Ccentral government to repeal three farm laws.

Participating in the protest, CPM district secretary T Arun requested the people to boycott Reliance products and asked them not to purchase anything from the Reliance Mart.

The BJP government brought three farm Acts for Ambanis and Adanis and other corporate companies in the country. These Acts hamper the development of farmers in the country, he said.

The farmers cannot get minimum support price because of the Acts and poses problems to the farming fraternity. The BJP government did not consult the farmers before framing the farm bills, he alleged.

Left parties will intensify their agitation in support of farmers if the Central government do not repeal the three farm laws, he warned. Left parties' leaders Nalla Rama Rao, AV Ramana, SS Murthi and others were present.
