Chittoor: The district level Bankers meeting, presided over by District Collector Dr N B Gupta, gave clearance for Rs.20,000 cr. District Credit Action Plan for 2020-21 year.
The meeting was held at the Collectorate here on Thursday. Lead Bank Manager Ganapati, Sapthagiri Grameena Bank Chairman B Suribabu , Nabard AGM Prasanth Babu , Indian Bank Zonal Manager Prabhakar Reddy and others were present.
Addressing the meet, District Collector N Bharat Gupta asked the bankers to provide credits to all eligible persons.
During 200-21, it was proposed to distribute Rs.20,000 cr. credit for all the sectors. For Priority Sector Rs.16,150 cr. would be allocated while Rs.8,460 cr. for crop loans.
