Guntur: CPI leaders protested at Lodge Centre in Guntur on Friday, demanding that the government relocate liquor shops from the residential localities and temples. They said that law and order is important than liquor sales.
They said liquor near the houses causing inconvenience to the people residing in the houses. They warned the government to intensify agitation, if the officials did not take any action.
CPI district secretary J Ajay Kumar led the protest. CPI Guntur city secretary Kota Malayadri and others were present.
