Assembly Speaker says they will guide farmers in all aspects right from sowing of seeds to harvesting and marketing produce

Srikakulam: Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBK) will change the fate of farmers in the State, said State Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram and Minister for Roads and Buildings Dharmana Krishna Das here on Saturday.

The Speaker inaugurated RBK at his native village Thogaram in Amudalavalasa mandal and the Minister inaugurated RBK at his native village Mubagam in Polaki mandal on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, they predicted revolutionary changes in farming sector with the RBKs. Accountability mechanism will be developed with these RBKs and farmers can get quality seeds, manure and other material useful for cultivation at their native places, they elaborated.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy started these RBKs with a vision to bring absolute changes in farming sector. These RBKs will be guiding

farmers in all aspects from sowing of seeds to till harvesting and marketing and farmers need to avail services of RBKs for their benefit, they suggested.

Rythu Radham, information kiosk, banking correspondence and cold storages etc are different parts within the RBKs to extend services to farmers, they explained. Soil testing, crop management and technical assistance will be provided to farmers through RBKs and farmers need to come forward to utilise these services, they appealed. Total 820 RBKs were set up in Srikakulam district, they said.
