The meeting will be held at Pragati Bhavan and the Irrigations authorities from both states will also participate. it's known fact that the two CMs discussed the topic and decided to transfer Godavari water to Krishna Basin. Subsequently, committees of engineers were formed in both states to study prepare a route map on the matter. After receiving the reports of the engineers, the two chief ministers discuss and finalize the issue.

However, these meetings were not held for various reasons. Two days ago, CM KCR made a statement in the state assembly that efforts were being made to transfer the Godavari water to the Krishna basin. He also announced that he had spoken to AP CM.

Chairman of the Krishna board RK Gupta met ENC of two states on Thursday to discuss the usage of water. There is a debate on the opinion of AP that there is no need to take into account of the usage of floodwater from Krishna. Telangana ENC has also asked for water to be transferred the quota including flood water.

The Telangana government order the Committee of Joint Engineers to calculate the amount of water transferred to from the Potireddipadu Head Regulatory.
