Tirupati: BJP Chittoor district president B Chandra Reddy called upon the people to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the sake national unity and integrity.

Chandra Reddy along with BJP state committee member G Gopinath Reddy and district committee member A Munikrishna Yadva took up a door-to-door campaign, distributing leaflets in Govindaraja Swamy mada streets in the city on the one-year achievements of Modi government, responding to the party central unit's call.

Chandra Reddy said the BJP government in its one-year stint passed many acts including abolition of Triple Talaq for empowerment of women of Muslim minority community, Abrogation of Article 370 and also taken up construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya following the Supreme Court verdict.

Modi government also took up many steps including Rs 20 lakh package, Rs 1,500 to Jandhan account holders to help overcome the difficulties due to pandemic Covid-19, he said and sought the people to support the BJP.

The BJP campaign on Modi government's one year achievement began on June 15 in the city. BJP leaders daily visiting the residents and distributing the pamphlets on Modi government's one-year achievement as part of the nationwide campaign.
