Eight pilgrims died and four were injured in a road accident between Maredumilli-Chinturu Ghat Road on Tuesday, when a temple, which was travelling by them fallen into the valley in the place.
Kakinada: Eight pilgrims died and four were injured in a road accident between Maredumilli-Chinturu Ghat Road on Tuesday, when a temple, which was travelling by them fallen into the valley in the place.
The pilgrims belong to Chitrakut district in Karnataka State and they took darshan of Lord Sitharama temple at Bhadrachalam on today morning and started their journey to go Annavaram. On the way, the accident occurred.
Six persons died on the spot and two at Rampachodavaram government hospital while getting treatment. Five bodies were sent to Rampachodavarm hospital.
