Visakhapatnam: Using cartoon as a medium to educate children safety, safe and unsafe touch and also on preventive measures to be taken to keep coronavirus at bay, cartoonist and secretary of Visakha Forum for Child Rights B Hari Venkata Ramana is conducting online classes.

With already six districts such as Ongole, Kadapa, Anantapur, Warangal, Khammam and Nagar Kurnool being covered on the subject, the cartoonist said the classes in Visakhapatnam have recently commenced.

"The focus is more on slum areas. With smartphones being the only criteria required, we wanted to reach out those who barely have access to such education," reasons Hari Venkata Ramana.

Covering 25 students below 18 years of age, each online class will include cartoon sketching, PPT presentation, book reading and digital interaction.
