Visakhapatnam: Gangavaram Port donates 2 lakh for playground development
As part of its corporate social responsibility activity, Gangavaram Port Limited donated Rs 2 lakh to the Pedakorada Welfare Association at Pedagantyada area to develop a playground and promote sports in the area.

B Balakrishna, Gangavaram Port vice-president (R&R and Security) and L P S Ramu Naidu, vice-president (Liaison and Security) handed over the cheque to Bonthu Jaya Prakash and Chittiboina Ramudu, secretaries of Pedakorada Welfare Association, Pedagantyada.
According to Gangavaram Port employees, "It's our endeavour to encourage the sports in villages. We are committed to the development of our neighbourhood and will continue to support similar initiatives for creating a healthy lifestyle among children."
