Former Minister is now making false allegations because his entry into the YSRCP is barred

Visakhapatnam: Tourism Minister M Srinivasa Rao has commented that former Minister and TDP leader Ganta Srinivasa Rao had been trying to join the YSRCP for the last one year.

Speaking to media persons at a press conference here on Tuesday, he said since all the doors to join the party had been closed, Ganta is now resorting to mud-slinging on the party.

"The government will not arrest anybody without following rules and so far the arrests made have been with full proofs. It is unfortunate that some are taking to social media to sling mud on the government which will not be tolerated," the Minister said.

The Minister further said that some were resorting to defame the leaders through false propaganda and hurt the sentiments of the party workers. "Those who are not able to fight us directly are resorting to such 'backdoor steps' to defame the government.

However, the government will certainly take serious action against those resorting to fake propaganda," Srinivasa Rao cautioned.

"We never did politics defaming 'women'. But, if you continue to do so, we are not going to keep quiet and will not step back to indulge in such malicious propaganda," the Minister added.

VMRDA Chairman Dronamraj Srinivasa Rao and YSRCP city president Vamsi Krishna Srinvas, among others were present at the conference.
