Visakhapatnam: TDP MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu alleged that the State government is looking to sell valuable lands in the city. Speaking at the party workers meeting at the party office on Saturday, he alleged that government was trying to usurp the lands from poor farmers under the pretext of land pooling.
"People are frustrated with the YSRC ruling," he stated, indicating that the TDP is sure to win the local body elections. Former minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu said that the State development was taking a 'reverse' mode on all fronts. He said that if the Chief Minister really loved Vishakhapatnam, he should try to bring in new industries to the port city. Ayyanna Patrudu mentioned that farmers were given acres of land for the construction of capital in Amaravati and now they had to bear the brunt. The meeting was chaired by TDP urban president Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar.
