Kondapi: Minister Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy has accused the YSRCP of spreading violence in the state. He said the opposition party cannot accept defeat in the local elections.
Speaking to the media at Thurpu Naidupalem on Sunday, the minister alleged that the YSRCP incited violence in Punganur, Chittoor and Madanapalle.
He said its workers also attacked a Sub-Inspector in Darsi.
He warned that strict action will be taken as per law against those who attacked the police in Darsi. Dr Swamy said it is shameful that former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is now talking about democracy.
He alleged that Jagan harmed democracy during his five years in power.
He also said Jagan is again telling lies about what he called ‘Narasura Raktha Charitra’. He said that people will not believe Jagan’s false words.
The minister said elections are being held in a free atmosphere in the state. He said independent candidates are also filing nominations freely along with the main political parties.
