Free mobile clinic named after Atal Bihari Vajpayee launched

On the 96 birth anniversary of former prime minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a free mobile primary healthcare centre was launched by Nava Bengaluru Foundation.

Bengaluru: On the 96 birth anniversary of former prime minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a free mobile primary healthcare centre was launched by Nava Bengaluru Foundation.

This mobile clinic is named after the former PM by Bangalore South MP Tejasvi Surya.

Speaking at the launch, Anil Shetty, founder of Nava Bengaluru Foundation, said, "This mobile clinic will provide free primary healthcare to more than 25,000 patients in slum areas every year. This will also be used to create awareness about disease prevention and hygiene. Every two weeks special medical camps will be conducted for screening cancer and other complex issues."

This project is initiated by Nava Bengaluru Foundation and managed by Wockhardt Foundation.
