Through Instagram, the couple announced their baby joy with Shilpa, 44, telling fans that the newborn "completed our family." And She shared her daughter's first picture to social media and revealed the name of the baby, Samisha Shetty Kundra, who arrived on 15 February.

Then the Bollywood actress specified the real meaning behind the name of her daughter, adding: "Sa" in Sanskrit is "to have," and "Misha" in Russian is "someone like God." You personify this name-our Laxmi Goddess and you complete our family.

In 2009 Shilpa and Raj married. They are also parents of son Viaan Raj who was born in May 2012, three years after the couple tied their knot. She gave birth to Viaan at the age of 37 and previously said in her late thirties she had not planned to become a mother.
' At 37, I never chose to be a mother. I always wanted to be a right-age mother, but I couldn't consider Raj at the right time. There's a time for all, and so for motherhood,' Shilpa said in a previous interview.
