Junior NTR Is All Set To Resume Shoot For Dragon From October

It is well known that Tollywood’s ace actor Junior NTR underwent arthroscopic shoulder surgery for the injury he sustained during the shoot for his film Dragon. As of now, he is recovering from it and took a break from his Dragon shoot. According to the sources, he is all set to resume the shoot for this movie from October.

Although the movie was scheduled to hit the theatres in this year itself, the delay in the shoot forced the makers to postpone its release to June 11, 2027. Going with the latest update, the makers stated that almost 70% of shoot got wrapped up ahead of his injury and even the director Prashant Neel joined the dots by completing the scenes that didn’t require Junior NTR.

So, as Junior NTR is all set to resume in October, the makers are planning to wrap up shoot in a single, long running schedule. It is expected to begin in the first week of October and wrap up in February, 2027 including some key part 2 sequences.

Dragon director Prashant Neel is known for his dark action entertainers and when it comes to Junior NTR, he never attempted a role of this scale and style. Being a complete action entertainer, the plot centers on a bloody global war for dominance over the international opium and heroin trade.

Already the glimpse introduced NTR as Luger, a merciless Assassin-in-Chief of Afghan trading company. This movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on 11th June, 2027. As of now, Anil Kapoor, Biju Menon and Rukmini Vasanth are essaying prominent roles in this movie.
