Bollywood star Alia Bhatt has joined the cast of filmmaker SS Rajamouli's upcoming venture 'RRR' says she wants to create something honest and good in the film.

Alia Bhatt interacted with media on the sidelines of ET Edge and Femina achievers Award Night here in Mumbai. The actor expressed her happiness and excitement about working with the critically-acclaimed director and superstars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in her maiden venture in the South film industry.

Talking about the role and preparations, Alia said, "Right now, preparations are going on, I am not going to reveal much about the role or film, because I am sure whether I am allowed to talk about it or not, like I said in my tweet, I am genuinely feeling really grateful, because I had this wish to work with SS Rajamouli, and it's been fulfilled, and it is getting fulfilled, so gratitude is something I really feel immensely. This is my first time working in south industry, so I am really excited"

Further adding Alia said she wants to create something honest and good with the film. She said, "Whenever I do a film, I do it according to the character and director; I tend to forget myself as I don't think it is important that which benchmark I have achieved, character for me is the most important. And what my director wants from me as my character that is also important. So I just want to go do this film and create something honest and good"

Actress Alia Bhatt, who was busy with Brahmastra and Kalank, is now gearing up for her next project, which is 'Baahubali' director SS Rajamouli's upcoming film 'RRR'. The actress will be seen opposite Telugu star Ram Charan.

RRR is an upcoming Telugu Historical fiction film scripted and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. It also stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., and Ajay Devgn in lead roles.
