Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabali Teaser To Be Unveiled On This Date

Tollywood’s ace actor Vijay Deverakonda and his wife Rashmika Mandanna’s latest movie Ranabali is all set to hit the big screens on 16th October, 2026. As the release date is nearing, the makers are all set to kick-start their promotions with the teaser.

Of late, they dropped the teaser announcement on social media and further upped the expectations on the movie.

The teaser of this most-awaited movie will be unveiled on 9th September, 2026. Even the promo also unveiled that it is the story of the cheiftale and a brute face-off between 1876 and 1878.

Going with the plot, it will roll us back to 1876 and 1878 and showcase how the protagonist fought against the British. Although it is not a biopic, the story is inspired by the real incidents that took place in 1870s but was never etched in the history books.

We already know how the British treated Indians during their rule. But a few people who fought against the British never received recognition as there was nothing written about them in the history books. But some stories always touch the hearts and create an impact when they are retold on the big screens.

Ranabali is one such story which holds lot of impact. Fighting against British is not a simple task. One needs courage and support to move forward and our dear Ranabali drew strength and motivation from his wife Jayamma to stand up for his people.

Thus, Ranabali is a cinematic reconstruction of a story that was built basing the oral histories and suppressed records. This movie also has an ensemble cast of Arnold Vosloo, Vinod Sagar and Luke McGibney. The Mummy villain will be seen as the antagonist Sir Theodore Hector in this periodic movie.

This Rahul Sankrityan’s directorial is produced under the Mythri Movie Makers banner and will hit the big screens on 16th October, 2026.
