Armaan Malik highlights the power of patience, gratitude
In Short
To Armaan, ‘Sabar’ holds both musical and personal significance.

Armaan Malik
Playback singer Armaan Malik has spoken about the importance of patience, gratitude and trusting one’s personal journey while talking about his latest song, ‘Sabar’. The track, which is part of Salim–Sulaiman’s Bhoomi 2026 project, talks about how true happiness is not always found at the destination, but perhaps in enjoying the journey.
To Armaan, ‘Sabar’ holds both musical and personal significance. He said that he was instantly captivated by the song, not only because of its musical appeal, but also the message. Recording the track for the Bhoomi project was a challenging experience for the playback singer. Yet, it is something that he hopes will remain a song he would be proud of years from now.
The Armaan Malik song has been composed by the acclaimed musical duo Salim–Sulaiman and the lyrics penned by Shraddha Pandit. It is a track that revolves around the idea of patience, gratitude and appreciation, encouraging listeners to slow down and appreciate the good things in life without constantly comparing their journey with others.
Speaking about his connection with the song, Armaan shared that he has had multiple dreams that he has held on to for quite some time, especially with his own original music. ‘Sabar’s message reminded him to continue believing in his dreams while encouraging people to go slow instead of being disheartened by others moving faster along their journey. The singer acknowledged the culture of comparison in the age of social media as everyone is constantly exposed to the achievements of others. According to him, it can often make people feel as if someone is overtaking them while their journey seems to be on pause.
He believes that patience and gratitude can help people develop a healthier outlook. Patience will allow people to understand that everyone moves at a different pace while gratitude will encourage them to appreciate what they have achieved.
Armaan also feels that having ambitious goals should not make people feel dissatisfied with their current circumstances. He hopes that ‘Sabar’ will help people reflect and those going through a setback trust their journey. Apart from the message, the singer also hopes that the song’s musicality will inspire budding singers to keep practising, keep learning and rediscover their love for singing.
