In a recent eye-catching FB Live conversation with celebrated actor Kunal Kapoor, Bhanumathi Narasimhan, the director of Women Empowerment and Child Care Programs for The Art of Living Foundation, re-lived and re-told stories from the Indian Puranas revealing its deeper hidden secrets though her latest book titled 'Parashakti: Magical Stories of the Divine Mother'.
Kunal Kapoor commenced his conversation by asking about the inspiration behind this book.
Starting from her passion for writing and the urge of re-telling stories, one witnessed Bhanumathi emerge in an interesting and enlightening dialogue with Kunal Kapoor.
Bhanumathi, in her entire discussion, wanted the audience to understand the importance of our scriptures and take interest in decoding the universal timeless wisdom that they contain.

During her tête-à-tête with Kunal, she articulated the importance of symbolism: The trishul symbolising transcendence if the three states - waking dream and deep sleep, the damaru, the peacock, conch, japa mala, bell, veena - so many objects that we often see in the hands of the gods.
One of the most fascinating mentions in the book, which took Kunal Kapoor by surprise, were the four levels of communication - Language, Feeling, cognitive knowledge or communication and lastly, something beyond words which is felt through vibration.
