Photography is an enormous field and there goes a lot of creative process behind becoming an established photographer. Merely having a DSLR or a high-class camera in hand does not make a person a photographer. There needs to have a lot of skill, patience and most importantly money to sustain in the field. Among all the categories of photography, wildlife is the hardest. The main reason behind it is that wildlife photographers need to have patience in abundance as animals cannot remain stationary in one place. Tapan Sheth, a reputed wildlife photographer in Gujarat is living by his passion today.

With his incredible work, he proved that passion can indeed move mountains. However, the photographer holds a qualification in Information Technology and is the owner of Sakshi Infoway Pvt. Ltd, a leading software and web designing company based in Rajkot. While speaking about his work, he said, "Photography is my passion but not my major source of earning.

With a qualification in IT, I chose it as my profession. Honestly, photography has given me recognition, but my company has helped me earn a livelihood. So I would rather say I am living my passion and simultaneously earning my livelihood." Besides this, his work in photography is recognized all over Gujarat and the country as well.

Many top companies and media houses like BBC, National Geographic, NatGeo and Apple have earlier featured his works. His love for travel is pretty evident from his posts on social media and till date, Tapan has captured many animals in his lens including Asiatic Lion, Tiger, Leopard, Vulture, Elephant and several other rare species.

For his outstanding work in photography, Sheth has won a lot of laurels and recognition. He was the winner of Nature's Best Photography Asia 2016. He was also the winner of Wildlife Reserves Singapore Group, Through The Lens 2017. Apart from this, Tapan Sheth is also very vocal about nature and wildlife conservation and urges everyone to not cause any harm to the habitat.
