MLA Vedma Bojju Patel offers prayers at Padmalpuri Kakobai temple

Khanapur: Khanapur MLA and Nirmal District DCC President Vedma Bojju Patel visited Sri Sri Sri Padmalpuri Kakobai Ammavari Temple at Gudirevu village in Dandepalli mandal of Mancherial district on Thursday and offered special prayers. Speaking on the occasion, he said the temple holds great religious significance for tribal communities, attracting devotees from Telangana, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. He stressed the importance of preserving tribal culture and traditions.

He said the Congress government had sanctioned Rs1.50 crore for Dandari Gussadi artists of the erstwhile Adilabad district and assured that the funds would reach beneficiaries’ bank accounts within a week. Considering the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu, he stressed the need for a Pushkar Ghat at Gudirevu and said he would take up the proposal with concerned ministers along with Mancherial MLA Prem Sagar. Adilabad MP Gaddam Nagesh, former MP Soyam Bapurao and other tribal leaders attended.
