Speed up grievance redressal, CM to collectors
In Short
AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu reviews RTGS and PGRS functioning, directing officials to resolve constituency-level public grievances faster and counter misinformation.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu holds a review on RTGS at the Secretariat on Monday
Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to ensure that public grievances are not ignored and that complaints reaching nodal officers across all 175 constituencies are resolved faster, with clear accountability for delays. Reviewing departmental performance through the Real-Time Governance System (RTGS) at the Secretariat on Monday, Naidu assessed the delivery of government services at the grassroots level and the functioning of the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS).
Observing that the system was resolving public grievances to a considerable extent, he instructed chief secretary G Sai Prasad to convene a meeting with collectors to improve its effectiveness. The meeting should focus on fixing responsibility among employees and officials for complaints received by constituency-level nodal officers and ensuring their timely resolution, he said. Naidu also expressed concern over what he described as misleading propaganda against government departments through the distortion of official orders. Citing misinformation surrounding a Government Order issued by the revenue department, he directed officials to respond promptly with accurate information and prevent the public from being misled.
The Chief Minister stressed that departments should communicate the facts effectively whenever government decisions or orders were misrepresented. Chief secretary Sai Prasad and senior officials from various departments participated in the review meeting.
