Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar expressed deep condolences over the untimely demise of famous film actor Vijay Raghavendra's wife Spandana.
Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar expressed deep condolences over the untimely demise of famous film actor Vijay Raghavendra's wife Spandana.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday after receiving the last darshan of actor Vijay Raghavendra's wife Spandana.
He said, Spandana, who acted in the movie Apoorva, met with an untimely death. Spandana had a beautiful family where she had to live. It is painful that Spandana died while on a trip to Thailand. The death of Spandana has caused an irreparable loss to the family of BK Shivaram and Vijaya Raghavendra. May her soul rest in peace. The Chief Minister said that he would pray to God to give strength to his family and fans to bear the loss.
"Why this injustice can't be questioned to God. However, DCM DK Shivakumar said that Spandana's death was a gross injustice.
After paying his last respects to the mortal remains of Spandana, he said, Vijaya Raghavendra couple visited me only a week ago. He had submitted a request for a site to be given to artistes who have received state awards.
But it is shocking and painful that Spandana died so soon, at such a young age.May God grant Spandana's family the strength to bear the shock of her sudden death,” said DCM DK Shivakumar.
