HDK questions CJP silence on KPSC irregularities

Bengaluru: Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H D Kumaraswamy has asked why the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has remained silent on alleged recruitment irregularities in the Karnataka Public Service Commission.

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru on Saturday, he asked where those who had protested in New Delhi over the NEET question-paper leak are now. Those who created a commotion in Delhi, he said, should explain why they are not questioning what he called excessive corruption under way in Karnataka.

He referred to allegations of irregularity in the appointment of Assistant Executive Engineers through the KPSC and to similar allegations in the recruitment of veterinary doctors. He asked why no voice was being raised against corruption that, he said, sells jobs for money.

Young people, he insisted, must question the recruitment irregularities and corruption taking place in Karnataka.
