Mysuru: We are sure to win in Mysore-Kodagu and Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha constituencies. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah assured that we will win at least 20 constituencies including these two constituencies.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday speaking at the meeting with Ministers, Ex-Ministers, MLAs, Ex-MLAs, District Leaders, Board Presidents, Block Presidents and office bearers of the three districts organized in the background of Mysore-Kodagu and Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha elections.

He said, Both are Congress constituencies. Must come back to our ‘hands’. Last time due to some reasons we lost by very less votes. But this time there are no pro-BJP reasons. There is a strong anti-BJP wave in the state. He said that the people of the country have heartily accepted that the Congress guarantees have brought peace to all the families of the state who were suffering due to BJP’s price hike.

In many polls conducted by us, there have been reports that we are certain to win in 20 constituencies including Mysore and Chamarajanagar constituencies. Thus, he said with confidence that if they work together, an unprecedented result in favor of the Congress will come out.

Ten years in power, Modi government has not done a single thing to show the people. So it is like asking for vote in the name of Sri Rama. Rama belongs to all. Rama is in my name, he said

The BJP, which has been in power at the center for ten years, has no face to go to the people. Because in these ten years BJP has not done a single thing to show people. That’s why BJP is struggling to hold elections just by showing Modi’s face. He said that Congress has won by a margin of 50-60 thousand votes in all the constituencies where Modi campaigned in the assembly elections.

Thus BJP has resorted to lies. He told serial lies about me, about our leaders, about our party and criticized that elections are being conducted on the basis of lies. Inequality in society must go. But BJP is dividing the society in the name of caste and religion. He said that the more the rift in the society, the greater the inequality.

Sri Ramachandra, Sita, Lakshmana are all revered by us. Now BJP only shouts Jai Shri Ram. Even I constantly tell Jai Sitaram. He said there is Rama in my name. The programs of our Congress government are available to all castes and all religions. We did as we were told. The BJP and Narendra Modi gave a list of their failed assurances that they did not do a single thing.

What happened to the secular?

Devegowda, who said that he would leave the country if Modi becomes Prime Minister, Devegowda, who said that he will be born as a Muslim in his next life, has now joined the BJP.

He sent his son-in-law Manjunath to BJP. He has sent his son-in-law to the BJP like you go first, then we will come too. That is why he suggested that it is better to remove the word secular from the name of his party.

We had to go to the Supreme Court to ask for our share

Even after five months of drought in the state, not a single rupee has been received from the state’s share of drought relief. First you give rice to the people of the state. They took money and gave rice, but they did not give it. Now the drought relief from the state’s share is not being given to us. Is our tax money worth it? Is there no price for the demand of the people of our state? He questioned.

Social Welfare Minister HC Mahadevappa, Animal Husbandry Minister K Venkatesh, KPCC Working President Tanveer Seth, Guarantee Schemes Implementation Committee Vice-Chairman Pushpa Amarnath, Shelter Scheme Chairman Former MLA Yatindra Siddaramaiah, Mysore Lok Sabha Constituency candidate Laxman and all MLAs of the three districts were present in the meeting.

He also stated, What happened to Modi’s promises? Party Workers applauded the Chief Minister’s questions in Mysore style. Is Modi collecting black money from abroad? They said Rs 15 lakhs to be deposited in everyone’s account. Did they deposit? They said of creating two crore jobs per year. Did they do? They said they will Double the income of the farmers? Did they do? They said Achche din ayega, did achche din come? They also said they will pay all the debts of India. When Modi became Prime Minister, the country’s debt was Rs 53 lakh crores. Now the debt of the country has increased to Rs 183 lakh crores. Rs 130 lakh crores of loan made by Modi government in 10 years. Is this what they have cleared the debts? They said Make in India, Did it happen? They said the price of the dollar will fall against the rupee? did it happen, CM Siddaramaiah questioned. He said that Narendra Modi is a good event manager.
