10.5 lakh compensation paid to worker's family
Isnapur MPTC Member Gaddam Srisailam has expressed anguish over death of workers in the Pasamailaram industrial estate because of the failure of the managements to provide adequate safety measures in the units.
Patancheru: Isnapur MPTC Member Gaddam Srisailam has expressed anguish over death of workers in the Pasamailaram industrial estate because of the failure of the managements to provide adequate safety measures in the units.
He was speaking after reaching Gandhi Hospital on Saturday following the death of a worker, Krishnayya, hailing from Kesaram village, who succumbed to injuries sustained in a recent accident in Nirmal Enterprises in Pasamailaram. While consoling the family members, he handed over Rs.10.5 lakh as compensation after holding discussions with the management.
Srisailam gave Rs.50,000 as immediate expenses to the family. The family members thanked the MPTC member for his gesture. Village elders Rajesh Goud, Dasarath, Balaswamy, Narsimha Yadav were among those who took part in the discussions with the company management.
