Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C Sudarshan Reddy on Thursday said that cases relating to over 54 lakh out of 92 lakh electors served notices have been disposed of by officials, who brought them back into the voters list. Now, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will visit the homes of the electors against whom notice was issued and collect the documents.

Local Revenue wing officials conducted the survey of 388 acres of assigned land in the survey number 325, following a complaint lodged by some local people that their lands had been misused. Farmers from Venkatapur and Erravelli lodged complaints alleging that around 134 to 388 acres of land in and around Survey No. 325 (historically classified as gairan or assigned/government lands) were improperly mapped or over-mapped during the previous BRS regime.
