All eyes on Erravelli land survey report
Hyderabad: All eyes are on an official report prepared following a survey of lands in Erravelli that Siddipet district Collector K Hymavathi has submitted to the government. The report mainly concerns lands owned by Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and former chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and others in survey number 325 at Erravelli village in Markook mandal.
The report is crucial for the government to proceed action against KCR if indeed any of the assigned lands have been bought from the locals for his sprawling farmhouse in Erravelli.
Local Revenue wing officials conducted the survey of 388 acres of assigned land in the survey number 325, following a complaint lodged by some local people that their lands had been misused. Farmers from Venkatapur and Erravelli lodged complaints alleging that around 134 to 388 acres of land in and around Survey No. 325 (historically classified as gairan or assigned/government lands) were improperly mapped or over-mapped during the previous BRS regime.
