Curator of Zoo, N Kshitija, BHEL general managers, T S Vardharajan, B Srinivas, K S Murthy, Ashok Barad, R K Chokhani and other officials of BHEL were present on the occasion to mark the event.

The ED along with other officials of BHEL also took a round of the zoo in the toy train and expressed satisfaction over the maintenance of its parts. The officials while enjoying the ride also expressed satisfaction over the maintenance of the animal health, animal enclosures, visitors' amenities etc. and appreciated the efforts of Curator in the upkeep of the zoo on par with global standards.

Kshitija expressed gratitude to the BHEL officials for constant support in the maintenance of toy train. Uday Kumar said that the zoo was the pride of Telangana and he and his team were very happy to be a helping hand in the maintenance of toy train. Further, he also assured his support to the zoo as and when required.

4-year-old adopts croc

Master Perla Sai Shivank aged about 4 years, son of Perla Sai Prasanth, a resident of Nuzvid, adopted one crocodile in Zoo for a period of one year by paying Rs 20,000. The family handed over the undertaking letter to the Curator, Kshitija, who appreciated the noble gesture of Shivank and his parents for coming forward in adopting the reptile at her zoo.
