A day-long exhibition of clothes and footwear worn by Shirdi Sai Baba and the three coins gifted to him by Mahalsavathi was organised in New Vasavinagar Community Hall here on Monday by social activist and president of Vasavinagar Welfare Association Telukunta Satish Gupta.

Secunderabad Cantonment: A day-long exhibition of clothes and footwear worn by Shirdi Sai Baba and the three coins gifted to him by Mahalsavathi was organised in New Vasavinagar Community Hall here on Monday by social activist and president of Vasavinagar Welfare Association Telukunta Satish Gupta.

The items on display were brought from Shirdi. Thousands of devotees who had darshan of them were mesmerised by the sight. A devotee from Guntur, Shirdi Srinivas, said the exhibition would be taken to various parts of the country.

The association leaders provided Sai 'prasadam' to the devotees. Mahalsavathi's grandson Ashok Marthand and his wife Kavitha interacted with Sai devotees during the exhibition.

Addressing them, he said Sai Baba was being worshipped by crores of people across the world. Later speaking to the media, Marthand threw light on Sai Baba's miracles and achievements. Among those present were Telangana Arya Vaishya Mahasabha political media chairman Vidiyala Sanjay Kumar, leaders of the association.
