Cops' drive to promote happy and safe driving

LB Nagar: Rachakonda Commissionerate launched a novel programme 'Patrol for happy driving' at Chintalakunta in LB Nagar on Thursday. Rachakonda Commissioner Mahesh Bhagat was the chief guest. He along with DCP (Traffic) Divya Charan flagged off the programme.
The Commissioner has said that a total of 4,000 people who have been driving safely and following traffic regulations have been identified. "They have been given stickers and certificates. Next year we will identify 8,000 people to recongnise safe drivers. The programme will be extended to rural areas too" he added.
