Eco-friendly Ganesh idols distributed free of cost

Hyderabad: BJP State General Secretary N Gautam Rao and Hyderabad Central District Treasurer A Suryaprakash Singh distributed eco-friendly Ganesh idols measuring four to six feet to devotees at Barkatpura Chaman over the last two days ahead of Ganeshotsav starting on Monday. Talking to the media, Gautam Rao urged the state government to support Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav organizers fully without imposing unnecessary restrictions.

He demanded that authorities repair damaged roads, restore non-functional streetlights, trim overhanging tree branches, and clear sewage overflows on a war footing to facilitate idol transportation.

Rao expressed delight at distributing idols to youth from various colonies and apartments to enhance festive spirit while encouraging spirituality and patriotism at pandals. Program attendees included Chitti Sridhar, K Umarani, Suman Singh, Kanne Ramesh Yadav, Shyam Raj, Nandakishore Yadav, Sunil, SS Ramu, Satyendra Singh, and Ashish Raj Singh.
