Minister Srinivas Goud points out `67,000 cr spent by TRS govt for the city

Hyderabad: Minister T Srinivas Yadav on Sunday said that Rs 67,000 cr were spent for development of the city after the TRS government came to power. He accused the opposition BJP and the Congress of creating communal hatred and confusion for GHMC polls. The people are aware of development being done by the ruling party he, said.

He conducted a house-to-house campaign at Bansilalpet for TRS candidate Hemalatha along with local leaders Chinnaiah and others. Srinivas Yadav has asked the BJP to stop hatred and emotions among people for the civic body polls. Like never before, the government and minister KTR gave Rs 800 crore for Santh Nagar segment. Flyovers, bypasses, roads, parks and development programs are on under KCR government he said.

The BJP government offered nothing for the city development during floods he charged. The TRS would win majority seats and retain Mayor seat, he expressed confidence. Despite false and communal hatred campaign by the BJP, the city people will support the TRS in the polls. He asked how BJP and Congress can seek votes when they do not bring funds and help develop the city. The KCR government offered 85 seats to women more than 50 percent of 150 GHMC divisions. The people should give votes to the TRS candidates for continuous growth and more development, he urged.

BJP will sell Hyderabad to Ambanis

Addressing a press conference here, the TRS leader alleged that the city was getting investments now and the BJP leaders were trying to stop them. "If Hyderabad is given to the BJP, they will sell it to Ambani," said Srinivas Goud.

He found fault with the Union Minister Prakash Javadekar releasing charge sheets against the TRS government. He said, "The BJP leaders have a habit of changing stances. First they appreciate the TRS government and at the time of elections they criticise us. Even the Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the functioning of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao," said Goud.

The TRS leader said that the party will never give the Mayor's seat to MIM. "We will not give the mayor's seat to MIM even if they take up 'Tapasya'. Why will we give the mayor's seat after winning 100 seats," he asked.
